Due to the continuing concern and spread of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) along with the Governor’s request to not have large gatherings of people, we are postponing Easter @ the Ridge as well as Family @ the Farm. As a staff we want you to know that we are already at work putting together plans for what’s next. Let’s continue to be in prayer for those affected by this virus as well as all the first responders.

Here is our plan moving forward:
Sundays: We will not host in-person worship services on March 22. Instead, we will stream a service through our Facebook Page at 10:00am.
Wednesdays: We will not host Wednesday evening activities on March 18 or March 25. Instead, we will stream a service through our Facebook Page at 6:30pm.
In addition to that, beginning this Thursday (March 19) at 8:00pm, Pastor Gary will begin a daily thought and prayer. This will continue daily at 8pm on our Facebook Page.
We will come together as a staff prior to Sunday March 29 to make a decision about that day and plans moving forward. As always, we will communicate with you quickly and efficiently as decisions are made.
Giving: There are 2 options for you to get your tithe, offering, or other gift to the church:
- Click Here to give online.
- Mail To: Calvary Baptist Church • 101 Broadus Rd NE • Rome, GA 30161
Needs: If you know of someone who is in need of help during this time, please contact Jan (email@example.com). We are willing to help in any way we can.
Continue to be praying for all those impacted by this virus, and with wisdom keeping an eye open for ways you can be Jesus to those around you.

Calvary Baptist Family:
In consideration of public health concerns related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), we will NOT be having any services at the church on Sunday, March 15, 2020. We will keep you up to date through email, our website (calvaryrome.org/covid19), and social media. We not only want to keep you abreast of church activities but the latest updates from our health care professionals. Please help us get the information out as you become aware of it.
In an attempt to remain faithful to our calling I will be doing a Facebook Live Bible Study, Sunday morning at 10AM. Please go to our church Facebook page to view the study. You will also be able to give online by going here.
I love all of you and my calling requires me to watch out for you and your families.
If someone should ask why we chose to respond to this health crisis by closing our doors, here is my response:
- We are loving people by protecting people.
- We are not afraid. We are being responsible.
- This is what love requires of us during this time.
